titleOfInvention | Preparation of acyloxysilanes |
abstract | Acyloxysilanes are prepared by the anhydrous reaction ofnstoichiometric amounts of a carboxylic acid with a mixture of anhalosilane and a silazane preferably in an aprotic solvent, such as diethylnether, acetonitrile, tetrahydrofuran or toluene, in an inert gasnatmosphere. In a preferred embodiment the silazane is prepared innsitu by the reaction of the corresponding halosilane and ammonia.nNo catalyst is necessary and the reaction preferably is performednat a temperature of -5 °C to 45°C. |
