titleOfInvention | Mixtures of trisubstituted and tetrasubstituted polyalkylpiperidinylaminotriazine tetraamine compounds |
abstract | A mixture containing a) 10% to 30%, relative to the weight of the total mixture, of a compound of the formula (IA) R1-N(R)-R2-N(R)-R3-NH-R4-N(R)- R5 and b) 70% to 90%, relative to the weight of the total mixture, of a compound of the formula (IB) R1-N(R)-R2-N(R)-R3-N(R)-R4-N(R)-R5 wherein R1 and R5 are independently of one another hydrogen, C1-C12alkyl, C5-C7cycloalkyl or a group of the formula (II), <CHEM> with R6 being hydrogen, C1-C8alkyl, -CH2CN, C3-C6alkenyl, C7-C9phenylalkyl which is unsubstituted or substituted on the phenyl by 1, 2 or 3 C1-C4alkyl; or C1-C8acyl; R2, R3 and R4 are independently of one another C2-C12alkylene, R is a group of the formula (III), <CHEM> wherein R7 is C2-C8dialkylamino, C1-C4alkoxy, a 5-membered to 7-membered heterocyclic group containing a nitrogen atom which is attached to the triazine residue or a group of the formula (IV), <CHEM> R8 and R10 are independently of one another C1-C12alkyl, C5-C7cycloalkyl, benzyl or a group of the formula (II) and R9 and R11 have independently of one another one of the meanings given for R6, is useful for stabilizing organic materials against degradation induced by light, heat or oxidation. Granules of this mixture are white and show a very good transmittance. |
