abstract The adhesion of fragrances to surfaces such as textiles, hard objects or the human body should be improved. This was achieved essentially by using alkyl polyglycosides of the general formula R 1 -O (G) n , in which R 1 is an alkyl radical having 8 to 22 carbon atoms, G is a glycose unit and n is a number from 1 to 10, for fixation of fragrances on hard and / or soft surfaces. The washing or cleaning performance of the alkyl polyglycosides, especially at low temperatures, is increased by the use of the fragrances.
