abstract |
A human amine receptor polypeptide and DNA (RNA) encoding such polypeptide and a procedure for producing such polypeptide by recombinant techniques is disclosed. Also provided are methods for detecting compounds which bind to and activate and bind to and inhibit such polypeptide and the use of compounds for treating diseases related to the underexpression and overexpression of the human amine receptor of the present invention. Also disclosed are methods for detecting mutations in the nucleic acid sequence encoding the polypeptide and for detecting altered levels of the soluble form of the polypeptide. |
