An image forming method is disclosed which is structurednin such a way that a toner image carried to a transferringnposition by a toner image holding member for holding andncarrying the toner image from a toner image forming positionnto the toner image transferring position is transferred to anpredetermined recording medium, nthe image forming method comprising:n a transferring and fixing step of bringing the carriedntoner image into close contact with the recording medium andntransferring and fixing the toner image while heating thentoner image, wherein a recording medium is employed as the recording mediumnwhich has a thermoplastic transparent resin layer on at leastna surface of a base thereof on which the toner image isntransferred and softening point (Tmp) of the transparent resinnis in the range from - 1°C to - 30°C from softening pointn(Tmt) of the toner. |
