abstract This invention provides a compound of the formula:n nand its pharmaceutically acceptable salts, wherein nā€ƒā€ƒā€ƒR 1 is halo, C 1 -C 6 alkyl, halo C 1 -C 6 alkyl, C 1 -C 6 alkoxy or halo C 1 -C 6 alkoxy;nR 2 is hydrogen, C 1 -C 6 alkyl, halo C 1 -C 6 alkyl, C 1 -C 6 alkyl-S-, C 1 -C 6 alkyl-SO-, C 1 -C 6 nalkyl-SO 2 -, cyclopropyl, phenyl, -NH 2 , -NH(CH 3 ), -NHC(=O)CH 3 , -N(CH 3 ) 2 , -nN(C 2 H 5 ) 2 or -CH 2 C(=O)CF 3 ; Ar 1 and Ar 2 are independently phenyl, halophenyl ornthienyl; X is NH, O or S; and Y is hydrogen, -COOR 3 or -CONR 4 R 5 , wherein R 3 , R 4 nand R 5 are independently hydrogen or C 1 -C 6 alkyl. n These compounds are useful as analgesics or anti-inflammatory agents, or innthe treatment of allergic disorders, angiogenesis, CNS disorders, emesis,ngastrointestinal disorders, sunburn, urinary incontinence, or diseases, disorders ornadverse conditions caused by Helicobacter pylori, or the like, in a mammalian subject,nespecially human, especially as analgesics or anti-inflammatory agents in the periphery.
