abstract A toner for developing an electrostatic image isndisclosed which has at least one endothermic peak innthe temperature region of 120°C or below inndifferential thermal analysis and contains, in itsnparticles having particle diameters of 3 µm or larger,nnot less than 90% by number of particles having ancircularity of at least 0.90 and less than 30% bynnumber of particles having a circularity of at leastn0.98. The toner does not cause the re-transfer undernhigh transfer current conditions and can realize thenformation of good images with high image density. nAlso, an image forming method using the toner isndisclosed.
