titleOfInvention Purification of waste gases obtained in the production of mineral fertilizers
abstract In the process for the joint cleaning of the waste gases produced in the production of mineral fertilizers by means of a washing solution in a washing column, in which process water forms at least part of the washing solution, the washing solution has a phosphate content of at least 1% by weight, preferably at least 2% by weight. -%, calculated as P 2 O 5 , dissolved in the clear washing solution. The pH of the wash solution is adjusted in a range from pH 3 to pH 5.5, preferably pH 3.6 to 4.2, using mineral acids, preferably nitric acid. Acidic process and rinsing water produced in the mineral fertilizer production process are used as washing solution, which are adjusted to the required pH value by introducing and dissolving NH 3 or HNO 3 .
