A buccal tube has a base part and at least one tube, nand it is formed from a metal material comprising Ti or Tinalloy, using a metal injection molding method. The buccalntube can be formed from a metal material which contains Tinas a base component, from 0.03 to 0.5 wt% C, from 0.08 ton0.8 wt% O and from 0.03 to 0.6 wt% N. The total C, O and Nncontent in the metal material is preferably from 0.14 to 1.1nwt%. Furthermore, pores of average diameter from 0.5 to 50nµm are preferably dispersed in at least a surface region ofnthe buccal tube, and the porosity of the holes is preferablynfrom 0.05 to 5.0 vol%. The buccal tube may furtherncomprises at least one engaging part which is preferablynformed into a hook or engaging piece for example. |
