abstract In a solid electrolyte capacitor comprising a solid electrolyte layernformed of a polymeric product layer of a polymerizable monomer, thenpolymeric product is doped with organic sulfonic acid selected from thengroup consisting of aromatic polysulfonic acid, organic sulfonic acidnhaving hydroxy group, organic sulfonic acid having carboxyl group,nalicyclic sulfonic acid and benzoquinone sulfonic acid. n In a method for manufacturing a solid electrolyte capacitor,nincluding the step of forming a polymeric product layer as a solidnelectrolyte layer by chemically oxidative-polymerizing a polymerizablenmonomer, the chemical oxidative polymerization is carried out by using,nas an oxidizing agent, a material selected from the group consisting ofncopper (II) compound, silver compound, mixture of copper (II)ncompound and silver compound, and mixture of iron compound andnhydrogen peroxide water.
