abstract This probe comprises at its distal end a hollow cylindrical body (10) having on the distal side an opening (22) receiving a stimulation electrode (16) mounted axially in this opening, body and electrode being mechanically secured by bonding of facing walls. - screw of the body and the electrode. The internal wall of the body is shaped so as to leave between the electrode and the body, when the electrode is mounted in the body, a peripheral gap defining a chamber (30, 34) between the internal walls facing each other (50 , 52) of the body and the electrode, this chamber being an adhesive expansion chamber essentially closed relative to the outside with the exception of an injection channel (32) and a leakage channel (36), so that the chamber can be gradually filled by penetration of glue under pressure through the injection channel and escape of excess glue through the leakage channel once this filling is completed.
