titleOfInvention Synthesis of Oligonucleotides on a solid support.
The invention therefore relates to a method for producing oligonucleotides by means of solid phase synthesis a) sequential assembly of the nucleotides on a solid support according to known methods, the exocyclic amino groups on the nucleobases being protected by a cyclic diacyl group and any phosphate protecting groups present being able to be split off by strong, non-nucleophilic bases, b) deprotection of the oligonucleotides bound to the solid support, and c) cleavage of the deprotected oligonucleotides from the solid support by known methods, characterized in that the oligonucleotides bound to the solid support are deprotected in the presence of a strong, non-nucleophilic base in a suitable organic solvent.
