titleOfInvention Closed circuit breathing apparatus
abstract The invention relates to a breathing apparatus withnclosed circuit operation.n n n The apparatus comprises a respiratory bag constituting a false lung (5), a filter cartridge (4) containing a substance capable of transforming carbon dioxide from the exhaled gases into oxygen, a thermal sponge (3) capable of absorbing by capacitive effect of the heat of the gases coming from the filter cartridge and capable of cooling in contact with the exhaled gases which pass through it, the false lung (5) being provided with an intake means (6) for admitting outside air into the false lung when the pressure in the false lung is lower than the external pressure, and the apparatus comprising an active carbon filter (2), said filter (2), the thermal sponge (3) and the filter cartridge (4) being placed in this order on the path of the exhaled gases and in reverse order on the path of the inspired gases.
