The invention relates to new catalyst systems based on water-insoluble rhodium complex compounds with diphosphine ligands. The diphosphine ligands are present as ammonium carboxylates, sulfonates or phosphonates with single or multiple charged diphosphine anion and the corresponding number of ammonium cations as counterions.n n n The invention further relates to the use of the new catalyst systems in the production of aldehydes by reacting olefinically unsaturated compounds with hydrogen and carbon monoxide in a homogeneous phase. |
