abstract |
A microparticle composition comprising crosslinked macromolecules in juxtaposition with a dehydrating agent, wherein the dehydrating agent is selected from the group consisting of soluble linear and branched polymers and wherein the microparticle composition is obtainable by incubating the macromolecule with the dehydrating agent at a temperature greater than room temperature and/or in the presence of a crosslinking agent for a sufficient amount of time to form microparticles. A method for making said microparticles and the use of the microparticle composition are also provided. |
