abstract |
A method for forming a solid gel matrix, comprising the steps of:n contacting together in solution:n (a) homopolymeric or heteropolymeric polyacrylate molecules comprising one or more ester groups and (b) an amine adapted to covalently bond with at least two of said ester groups on separate polyacrylamide molecules to covalently bond said separate polyacrylamide molecules together; wherein sufficient said covalent bonds are formed to cause said solution to form a solid gel matrix. |
