| abstract |
The invention relates to an arrangement and a method for diagnosing malignant tissue by fluorescence observation with an endoscope (1). A stroboscope (3) is used as a white light source in order to illuminate the tissue region (2) of interest through the endoscope (1). A laser (4) is used at the same time to stimulate the fluorescence. The analyzer (5) is activated in the dark phase (D) between two light flashes (B) of the stroboscope (3) and deactivated when there is a visible light flash (B). The tissue (2) can thus be viewed with continuous fluorescence stimulation by exposure to light with an excitation wave under pseudo-white light. The spectrogram can be displayed on a screen (13) which shows a normal white light endoscope image. |
