titleOfInvention A starch for paper making
abstract The present invention provides to a cationic starch prepared by roasting starch under the presence of a cationic polymer, a method for preparing the cationic starch, and a method for making paper board with the cationic starch. The method for making paper board of the present invention provides high retention of starch in paper board, enhances paper board strength in a high level and reduces a load of treating waste water from a paper machine, in comparison with the starch which has conventionally been employed for paper making.
