| abstract | A film transparency holder comprising a transparent flexible envelope (20) having first (21) and second (22) opposing sides. The first side (21) extends at one end of the envelope beyond the second side (22) thereby forming a first flap (26). The second side is connected to the first side along a portion of the length of the second side to form a transparency holding cavity therebetween. The remaining portion of the length of the second side forms a second flap (23). On securing the first flap (21) the second flap (23) can be separated from the first side allowing a transparency (29) to be inserted into the cavity. n Apparatus for use in mounting a transparency comprises a portion (3) for cleaning the transparency and the envelope, a portion (7) for inspecting the transparency, and a portion (14) for sealing the envelope. The apparatus further comprises means (5) for securing the flap of the envelope prior to insertion of the transparency. |
