A molded body (3) produced by the pressure-gelling process from a thermosetting synthetic resin system is still provided with a decoration (4) in the casting mold (1, 2) used for its production in the still gel state by the thermal transfer process. In this way, a greater depth of penetration of the sublimation dyes used for the decor into the shaped body and thus a significantly improved durability of the decor is achieved. In addition, the entire manufacturing process is rationalized in that the previously customary separate transfer printing process and the separate molding tools required for this are eliminated. |
