titleOfInvention Biaxially oriented laminated polyester film for use as film to be bonded onto metal sheet
abstract A biaxially oriented laminated polyester film comprisingn(A) a first layer formed from a first copolyester which isncomposed of ethylene terephthalate unit as a main recurringnunit, and (B) a second layer formed from a polyesterncomposition containing (B1) a second copolyester which isncomposed of ethylene terephthalate unit as a main recurringnunit and (B3) a filler having an average particle diameternof 2.5 µm or less and contained in an amount of 5 to 30 % bynweight, the second layer being to constitute a surface to benbonded onto a metal surface when the laminated film isnlaminated on the metal sheet. This composition can givenmetal cans, e.g., beverage cans and food cans, excellentnheat resistance, resistance to embrittlement under retortntreatment, flavour retention, impact resistance andnanticorrosive properties.
