The copolymers comprise ethylene building blocks and vinyl formate building blocks, the content of free vinyl formate in the polymer preferably being at most 5,000 ppm, based on the weight of the copolymer. The invention further relates to a process for their preparation and their use as a flow improver, in particular in petroleum distillates, preferably fuel and fuel compositions, in particular petroleum middle distillates, and also a fuel and fuel composition, comprising a major amount of a fuel and one for improvement the flow properties effective amount of the copolymer. |
