abstract | A fire retardant polyester resin composition comprisingn(A) 95 to 30 parts by weight of a polyester resin and (B)n5.0 to 70 parts by weight of a polyphenylene ether resinnand/or polyphenylene sulfide resin, and, for 100 parts bynweight in total of the components (A) and (B), (C) 0.05 ton10 parts by weight of a compatibilizing agent, (D) 2.0 ton45 parts by weight of a phosphoric ester compound ornphcsphonitrile compound, (E) 0 to 150 parts by weight of anreinforcing filler, (F) 0.001 to 15 parts by weight of annanti-dripping agent, (G) 0 to 45 parts by weight of anmelamine cyanurate, and (H) 0 to 15 parts by weight of anpolystyrene resin having epoxy group, provided that thenamount of the component (G) is from 0.5 to 45 parts bynweight for 100 parts by weight in total of the componentsn(A) and (B) when the amount of the component (B) is lessnthan 35 parts by weight. The polyester resin compositionnscarcely corrodes a metal mold when it is molded, and isnexcellent in fire retardancy. |
