abstract Coloured polyamide (PA) powder coatings which are stable to weathering, are made from conventional PA powders by coating the substrate first with at least one layer of pigmented PA and then with at least one layer of unpigmented PA containing weathering stabilisers. Also claimed are: (i) a process for the production of coloured PA coatings as above, in which the pigmented layer(s) is/are whirl sintered; and (ii) shopping trollies and baskets with weathering-stable coloured coatings as above.
