The present invention relates to stable aqueous wax dispersions containing A) 5 to 65 wt .-% micronized wax and B) 0.01 to 7 wt .-% polymeric carbohydrate derivatives as dispersants. n n n The waxes are amide, montan and polyethylene waxes, and cellulose ethers are particularly suitable as carbohydrate derivatives. These wax dispersions are suitable for the manufacture of car, shoe, floor and stone care products, drawing agents, aqueous wood glazes, printing inks and varnishes, for leather treatment, in paper production and as release agents. |
