abstract |
Process for producing cold-formed molded packs with at least one recess, made of a metal-plastic composite 20. Examples of such molded packs are the base parts of push-through packs or blister packs. According to the method, the composite 20 is held between a hold-down device 5 and a die 1. The die 1 has at least one die opening 8 and a punch 6 is driven into the die opening 8 and the composite 20 is deformed into the molded pack with one or more depressionsn n n The die 1 and the hold-down 5 have an opposite edge region 11, 12 and the die 1 has a shoulder region 13 within the edge region 11, which surrounds the die opening 8 or the die openings 8. The surface of the shoulder region 13 is around 0.01 to 10 mm deeper than the surface of the edge region 11 of the die 1 and a first stamp 6 or first stamp 6 with a deformation-effective surface of high friction form the metal-plastic composite 20 in one or more steps up to 100% of the final depth of the depressions before and then with a second stamp 6 or stamps 6 with a deformation-effective low-friction surface, the pre-deformed metal-plastic composite 20 is deformed in one or more steps to at least 100% of the final depth of the depressions. |
