titleOfInvention Single electrode lead for double-chamber cardiac stimulators, especially for DD cardiac stimulators
abstract A single electrode probe for pacemaker systems has a flexible tube-like probe body (7), ventricular electrodes (9, 10), atrial electrodes (11, 12), electrical leads (15) for these electrodes (9 to 12) and a channel (23) for receiving a guide wire (16), with the aid of which the probe (6, 6 ') can be inserted into the heart (1).n n n The probe (6) is provided with at least one preform element (17, 18) in such a way that when the guide wire (16) is inserted, the probe is stretched essentially in a straight line and when the guide wire (16) is pulled out, the probe (6) due to the preform elements (17, 18th ) can be deflected in a defined manner from the direction of extension, so that the probe (6) with its electrodes can be placed against the inner wall of the atrium or ventricle.
