Hydrosilylation crosslinking |
abstract |
An improved process for the preparation of thermoplastic elastomers by hydrosilylationncrosslinking, in which a very low amount of a platinum containing hydrosilylation catalyst isnused in combination with specific diene containing rubbers. In another variant of the invention, nthe hydrosilylation is carried out in the presence of process oil which is substantially free ofnmaterials having the chemical behavior of a Lewis base. A crosslinked rubber component isnobtained in the thermoplastic elastomer composition. |
