| abstract | This invention provides a transparent neutron screening material which can reduce radiation exposure in gloved box operations wherein, for example, plutonium fuel is handled, and can be used in, for example, gloved boxes requiring high transparency. The transparent neutron screening material according to the present invention comprises a transparent resin plate made of a cyclic olefin copolymer. The transparent neutron screening material according to the second invention comprises a transparent resin plate made of a cyclic olefin copolymer and surface protective layers having higher wear resistance than the transparent resin plate and which are deposited on both surfaces of the transparent resin plate. |
