titleOfInvention Endoscopic or fiberoptic imaging device using infrared fluorescence
abstract An angiography device for inspecting a wall (21) of a body cavity (2), comprising an endoscope or fiberscope (1) for insertion into the body cavity, an excitation assembly (12, 10) for emitting excitation light therein in a first wavelength range, a receiving assembly (11, 20, 13, 5) for sensing an image of the wall of interest in a second wavelength range that does not overlap with the first wavelength range, and an assembly for displaying the sensed image. Said first and second wavelength ranges are in the infrared range, and the receiving assembly comprises a digital sensor for converting the sensed image directly into digital signals, as well as a digital image processing unit therefor.
