The chemical with a plurality of electronndonating groups comprises a chemical with at leastnthree electron donating groups, wherein the at leastnthree electron donating groups are situated in closenproximity to provide high dried film resistivity.nWith the present invention, significant improvementnin dried film resistivity of carbon pigment ink jetninks is achieved, sufficient to eliminate chargenlead to charge lead shorts and improve machinenrunnability and can, therefore, be used in ink jetnprinters.
