abstract | The invention relates to a process for the preparation of poly (meth) acrylate particles with a diameter of 1-50 μm by the precipitation polymerization process, wherein monomers M containing at least 60% by weight of monomers of the formula I wherein R is hydrogen or methyl and R 1 is an alkyl radical with 1 to 8 carbon atoms, an optionally substituted aryl radical with up to 14 carbon atoms or an aralkyl radical in a compound of the formulas II or II ' or R 4 - O - H (II ') wherein R 2 for a straight-chain or branched, saturated alkyl radical with 7 to 23 carbon atoms, R 3 for hydrogen or a straight-chain or branched alkyl radical with 1 to 24 carbon atoms and R 4 for a straight-chain or branched, saturated alkyl radical with 10 - 22 carbon atoms stands, polymerized as a continuous phase in the polymerization and in the presence of an emulsifier and a radical initiator. |
