In (I), Ar = mono- or bicyclic aromatic hydrocarbyl (opt. substd. by halo, alkyl, alkoxy, CF3 or phenyl) or mono- or bicyclic heterocyclyl contg. 1-3 O, N or S and opt. substd. as above; R = H or OH; R' = H; or alkyl, phenyl, phenylalkyl, cycloalkyl or cycloalkylalkyl (all opt. substd. by halo, alkyl, alkoxy or CF3) or CRR'=CO; A = direct bond, CO or 1-5C n-hydrocarbylene opt. contg. O and/or substd. by 1 or 2 of halo, alkyl, alkoxy and oxo; Het = 5-membered heterocycle contg. 1-4 O, N or S and opt. substd. by 1 or 2 of alkyl, alkoxy, OH, O, SH, S, aminoalkyl, alkylaminoalkyl and dialkylaminoalkyl; alkyl moieties have 1-5 C atoms and cycloalkyl moieties 3-8 C atoms.
