abstract |
Algicides are added to the water for the algicidal treatment of water, in particular swimming pool water. The disadvantages of known processes can be avoided or reduced if chlorhexidine or a salt thereof is used as the algicide. Chorhexidine and its salts are characterized by a wide range of algicidal activity at a very low concentration. |
