Methods are provided for purifying oligonucleotides from biological samples using nmagnetically responsive particles. The method involves incubating magnetically responsive nparticles, to which oligonucleotide-binding partners have been linked, with biological sample npreparations to form a particle-binding partner-analyte complex. The complex is then nseparated from the cellular debris by application of a magnetic field. |
