titleOfInvention Protective component for an electrochemical accumulator and its manufacturing method
abstract The invention relates to a protective element for an electrochemical memory with at least one single cell and a method for its production. The protective element is made of granular varistor material, the mean diameter of the grains of the varistor material being less than 1 μm, in particular less than 250 nm, and with more than 60% of the grains of the varistor material the grain size deviating by a maximum of 40% from its static mean value. In order that such grains can be produced, a dispersion is used to form hollow biochemical bodies which have an inner diameter in accordance with the above requirements. Salts are added to the dispersion, which dissolve in the dispersion to form a precursor ion for a substance forming a precursor for a varistor material, the precursor ion for a substance forming a precursor for a varistor material being a precursor ion for an element required for the varistor material or a corresponding connection. The preliminary product ions of a substance forming a preliminary product for a varistor material are arranged in the closed cavity of the hollow body, with which the grains of the varistor material or a corresponding preliminary product are formed, which are released by removing the shell of the hollow body.
