titleOfInvention | Method for the enzymatic acylation of alcohols with alkoxyvinylacetates through transesterification |
abstract | The invention relates to a process for the enzymatic acylation of primary and secondary alcohols with enol esters, in particular alkoxyvinyl acetates, in organic media, the enol ester being split into a simple ester formed after enolization and an acyl radical; this is transferred to the alcohol in the solution, the transfer taking place enantioselectively in the case of racemic or prochiral alcohols, i.e. H. selective acylation of only one enantiomer or pro-enantiomer takes place, leaving behind the free alcohol of the other enantiomer or pro-enantiomer. The chiral acylated compounds and unreacted chiral alcohols can easily be separated. The corresponding free alcohols can optionally be obtained from the acylated alcohols by simple ester cleavage. |
