titleOfInvention | METHOD OF $i(IN VITRO) POLYMERASE CHAIN REACTION OF A DNA FRAGMENT WITH STAIR PRIMERS |
abstract | Method of in vitro polymerase chain reaction of a DNA fragment using an upstream and downstream primer, at least one being a socalled stair primer composed of a set of oligonucleotides. The oligonucleotides forming the set are in equal molar quantities, have different sizes and complementary sequences at the same upstream or downstream region of said fragment to be amplified. Each oligonucleotide has, from its 5' terminal, in the 5'}3' direction, the same sequence as the smaller oligonucleotides of the set. The present invention also concerns a method and kit for the diagnosis, in particular, of viral diseases. |
