abstract | 2.1 In known processes in which 2-anilino-pyrimidines of the formula I wherein R₁-R₅ have the meaning given in the description, by reacting phenylguanidine salts of the formula II wherein R₁ and R₂ have the same meaning as in formula I and p is 1 or 2, with 1,3-diketones of the formula III, where R₃-R₅ have the same meaning as in formula I have been obtained, the yield is 74-92%.n n n 2.2 The fact that the reaction of (II) with (III) is carried out under reduced pressure and with the separation of the water of reaction and the resulting carbon dioxide gives quantitative yields.n n n 2.3 Intermediates and active ingredients in medicinal and plant protection products, including as fungicides. |
