abstract Method for repairing a damaged protective coating (3) for gasturbine blades. The whole blade is masked, leaving only the damaged areas (2) free. The coating (3) is then completely removed from these areas (2), either by chemical etching or by aluminium diffusion treatment. A new layer of protective coating (3) is then applied locally by plasma spraying.
