The invention relates to a process for the production of fluorochlorohydrocarbon-free molded articles containing urethane groups with a cellular core and a densified edge zone with a substantially non-porous surface, so-called polyurethane (PU) integral foams, by reacting the known starting components in the presence of blowing agents, catalysts and at least one additive from the group of partially or completely neutralized (1) homopolymers of monoethylenically unsaturated monocarboxylic acids, dicarboxylic acids or their internal anhydrides, (2) copolymers of (2i) monoethylenically unsaturated monocarboxylic acids, dicarboxylic acids or their internal anhydrides and (2ii) carboxyl-free, monoethylenically unsaturated monomers copolymerizable with (2i) and (3) copolymers or graft copolymers (3i) monoethylenically unsaturated monocarboxylic acids and / or their salts, (3ii) monoethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acids, their salts and / or their internal anhydrides and (3iii) optionally carboxyl-free, monoethylenically unsaturated monomers copolymerizable with (3i) and (3ii) in a closed mold under compression. |
