titleOfInvention | Light-sensitive recording material |
abstract | There is described a light-sensitive recording material with a support, a negative-working light-sensitive layer which contains a diazonium salt and a water-insoluble polymer binder which is soluble or swellable in aqueous alkaline solutions, and a discontinuous top layer which forms a rough surface and which consists of particles of a water-insoluble , in water in the presence of anionic or anionic / nonionic dispersing polymers with a content of free or salt groups neutralized by salt formation of less than 0.8 mol / g, wherein the average height of the particles 2 to 6 microns, the maximum height smaller than 10 µm, the average horizontal diameter is less than 40 µm, the maximum diameter is less than 80 µm and the number of particles is 100 to 10,000 per cm². The material is suitable for the production of planographic printing plates and requires only short suction times in the vacuum copying frame. After exposure, the material can be developed without leaving any residue, while the rough surface on the image areas is retained. |
