titleOfInvention | Novel platinum (ii) complex and remedy for malignant tumor |
abstract | A novel platinum complex (II) represented by general formula (A) and a remedy for malignant tumor containing the same as the active ingredient, wherein R₁ represents a C₁-C₃ lower hydrocarbon group; R₂ ad R₃ represent each independently hydrogen or a C₁-C₃ lower hydrocarbon group, or R₂ and R₃ may be combined together to represent -(CH₂)₄- or -(CH₂)₅-; Y and Z represent each independently ammonia or a monodentate amine having a C₁-C₇ hydrocarbon group, or Y and Z may be combined together to represent a didentate diamine having a C₂-C₁₀ hydrocarbon group; and X- represents an inorganic acid anion or an organic carboxylic acid anion. This compound is efficacious against cisplatin-resistant cancer, has a solubility suitable for intravenous administration, is stable in aqueous solution, and has an excellent antitumor activity. |
