titleOfInvention | Condom with transdermal vasodilator |
abstract | A condom with a vasodilator delivery system is provided for producing and maintaining the erection of a male penis during intercourse. The vasodilator is contained in a transdermal patch. The patch may be used with or without a condom, and may be used inside of a condom. Where used inside of a condom, the patch is adhered during manufacture to the condom inside wall (10). The transdermal patch comprises a thin, smooth-edged layered structure for dispensing a suitable vasodilator to the penis skin surface (13). Where used inside a condom, the transdermal patch may remain attached to the condom inner wall during sexual intercourse, or may be made releasable from the condom wall so that it adheres only to the skin of the penis. In each embodiment of the patch, the vasodilator is applied to the skin of the user and is sealed against unwanted contraindicated leakage and contact with the internal tissue of a sex partner. |
