An organic electroluminescent element provided with a Hall transport layer of a structure in which a hole transport material is dispersed in a binder resin of a glass transition temperature Tg of not lower than 170 °C. Since the hole transport layer of the organic electroluminescent element has both a high durability and a high hole transport capacity, this element has excellent luminous efficiency, luminous brightness and stability. |
