Polyalkylene glycol |
abstract |
Polyalkylene glycols are characterised by an aklylene residue with 20 or more C atoms and a polymerisation degree of 2 and more. They are liquid hydrophobic diols with a low hydroxyl number. They may in particular be used to prepare polyesters and polyurethanes as base materials for the production of adhesives, sealing materials and coating compounds. |
