titleOfInvention | Communication switching system comprising a feature server system and a basic switching system |
abstract | Communication system (KS) with a feature system (LMS) for implementing features and a switching system (VS) for establishing and clearing connections between subscriber terminals (TE-A, TE-B) and for reporting events as well as feature activation and feature - feature system (LMS) deactivation requirements; the feature system (LMS) consisting of several feature modules (LMB) and a feature sequence control (LMAS) communicating with them, the feature modules (LMB) being able to call feature development modules provided by the feature sequence controller (LMAS), whereby messages from the feature sequence controller (LMAS) transmission events occurring in the switching system (VS), performance feature activation and performance feature deactivation messages and data entered by subscriber terminals (TE) are each transmitted to a special performance feature module (LMB) and signaling messages for the subscriber terminals (TE) by the performance feature modules (LMB ) are transmitted to the switching system (VS). Depending on an activation request, the performance feature sequence control (LMAS) transmits an activation message to the special performance feature module (LMB) assigned to the activation request. Each feature module (LMB) contains several sub-controls (R1, R2, R3), each controlling a message-dependent sub-flow, at least one message coming from the performance feature flow control (LMAS) to the assigned sub-controls (R1, R2, R3) and a coordination control (RSC) forwarding one Call control (ARS) for calling a coordination control (RSC) depending on an activation message. |
