titleOfInvention System and method for noninvasive hematocrit monitoring
abstract The appts for non-invasively monitoring the haematocrit parameter includes a finger clip or ear lobe clip. The finger clip assembly (6) has at least a pair of transmitters (1,2) using different frequencies. The transmitters are aligned with a photodetector (3) on the opposite side of the finger (7) which is inserted (8) into the clip. The transmitters use frequencies of 805 nm, 950 nm and 1310 nm if a third unit is present. The emission of the different frequencies is monitored and provide data to calculate the haematocrit parameter.
