Immobilized enzymes may be produced by reacting enzymes with activated substrates which contain as activated groups oxiran or azlactone groups as substituents in linear polymers. These immobilized enzymes are used in reaction with high molecular substrates. The immobilized proteinase K, for example, is suitable for inactivating other enzymes, in particular nucleic acid-modifying enzymes, for example restriction endonucleases. |
