La présente invention concerne une méthode améliorée permettant l'évaluation rapide d'au moins une caractéristique pétrolière de sédiments géologiques à partir d'un échantillon des sédiments, méthode dans laquelle l'échantillon est chauffé en atmosphère non oxydante. La méthode comporte différentes étapes d'élévation de température. On détermine au moins trois grandeurs S 1r , S 2a et S 2b représentatives de la quantité des hydrocarbures contenus dans ledit échantillon, puis on déduit de ces trois grandeurs au moins une caractéristique pétrolière du sédiment géologique. n n n n n The present invention relates to an improved method allowing the rapid evaluation of at least one petroleum characteristic of geological sediments from a sediment sample, method in which the sample is heated in a non-oxidizing atmosphere. The method includes different stages of temperature rise. At least three quantities S 1r , S 2a and S 2b representative of the quantity of hydrocarbons contained in said sample are determined, and then at least one oil characteristic of the geological sediment is deduced from these three quantities. |
